Apple announces new Vision Pro headset
Apple Inc. announced on Monday its mixed-reality headset, the Vision Pro, during the company’s WWDC developer conference. The headset is the first major new product since the Apple Watch in 2014, and it is on sale for $3,499.
The new headset allows users to see apps in the spaces around them, and they can use eye and hand movement to navigate through them. It can also be used to watch movies, including in 3-D, and play video games.
The headset can also be used to access video conferencing apps such as Microsoft Office Tools and Adobe Lightroom. Vision Pro will be available for sale starting in early 2024.
