The index of AqarMap.com, the leading real estate search engine in the Middle East, showed a monthly 5 percent increase in demand for homes in Egypt during October 2015. The index reached 2,366 points in October.
In its monthly report, AqarMap stated that October had witnessed a growing demand for buying housing units in Egypt, driven by the devaluation of the Egyptian pound against the U.S. dollar.
Aqarmap is a real estate search engine that allows searching thousands of properties and projects from real estate companies and private owners. It has more than 1,000 real estate units and is visited by one million monthly.
