Arab Contractors: Cote D’Ivoire’s Jacqueville Bridge Ready in June 2015

Egypt’s leading construction company, Arab Contractors (AC) plans to complete the construction works on Jacque Ville bridge project in Cote D’Ivoire within June 2015, said chairman Mohsen Salah.

The Ivoirian bridge project is with investment cost worth US$80 million.

The Egyptian official further stated that Jacque Ville Bridge is one of Arab Contractors’ biggest projects in Africa. Jacque Ville Bridge, a 534-meter long and 10-meter wide structure spanning the Ebrie Lagoon, will link Jacqueville City and capital Abidjan on the mainland.

The project aims at the reduction of using ferries and boats between ‎the two sides of the lake, and participates in saving the time and ‎development of industrial and tourism activities in the coastal areas ‎and improvement of traffic from Jacque Ville to centre, north, east ‎and west of the country. It will also facilitate the trade of agricultural produce.

Road projects seize the lion’s share of AC’s total businesses in Africa, at value of US$1.7 billion approximately. Ranked second, AC’s underway housing projects in Africa are worth around US$560 million. The infrastructure projects are in the third position, acquiring value of about US$500 million.
