The Federation of Arab Contractors is introducing an initiative for the reconstruction of war-torn countries in the Arab world, the federation’s head Fahad Al Hammadi announced Sunday.
The anticipated initiative aims to rebuild the infrastructure of the war-torn countries in the region, at cost of up to $14 billion, Al Hammadi said.
He further stated that the federation is negotiating with member Arab contractor companies to take part in rebuilding infrastructures in conflict-torn Arab countries.
The federation is also preparing a list of Arab countries that most needed for urgent support and reconstruction projects, the official added.
