Egypt’s leading construction firm, Arab Contractors (AC) is studying number of offers to implement new national projects in Kenya and Zambia worth US$ 180 million, Ibrahim Mabrouk – Head of the East and West Africa Sector at Arab Contractors – said Tuesday
The offers include carrying out governmental project namely roads and infrastructure projects, Mabrouk noted.
AC is seeking to implement new mega projects in several African countries during the coming period, as part of a plan to expand its businesses into the continent.
In December 2015, AC has signed a contract to establish a subsidiary in Kenya in a bid to boost its presence in the African continent.
Mabrouk added that the Kenya’s projects offers encompass number of infrastructure and water network projects with total investments $ 100 million, while Zambia’s offers comprise a road project worth $80 million with length of 26 Km.
