Egypt’s leading contracting company, Arab Contractors is set to finish the wheat silos project in 11 governorates worth 2.2 billion Egyptian pounds ($ 247.7 million) at the of April 2016, its chairman Mohsen Salah said Sunday.
UAE allocated a $4.9 billion grant to establish 25 wheat silos in Egypt at storage capacity of 60.000 tons per silo to help prevent the loss of billions of dollars worth of wheat each years.
AC has won two tenders to carry out 15 wheat silos among a national programme to build 50 silos so as to decrease wheat loss, grow more wheat in reclaimed desert land and store wheat safely.
Salah remarked that Arab Contractors has a great experience in the implementation of wheat storage silos.
