Argentina’s annual inflation rate exceeds 100 percent in February, the country’s first time since 1991, when the country was recovering from hyperinflation, the state’s statistics agency reported on Tuesday.
Argentinean monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate hit 6.6 percent, which exceeded analyst predictions, the annual inflation rate went up to 102.5 percent, increasing by 13.1 percent since the beginning of 2023.
