The Egyptian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Ashraf Al Araby traveled to Baghdad today on a visit that will last a number of days to discuss with Iraq’s offer to transfer US$ 4 billion to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The Minister and his delegation, which includes the governor of CBE and a number of banking experts, will meet the Iraqi Minister of Planning Ali al-Shoukry, the governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, the legal adviser to the Iraqi Prime Minister and a number of officials to discuss the details of the deposit.
