The Asian markets dropped in three of its major indices today, all closing at low values in comparison to the day before. The Chinese Shanghai Composite (SSEC) dropped by -0.05 percent to close at 3,310.65. The index recorded a high value of 3,320.74 and a low value of 3,306.46 during the day’s trade. The index’s previous closing value was 3,312.35.
Nikkei 225 (N225), Japan’s main index, dropped as well by -0.06 percent to 27,498.87. The index had an opening value of 27,564.82 for the final session and it recorded a day high value of 27,617.80 and a day low value of 27,408.54.
Hong Kong’s main index Hang Seng (HSI) fell by a percentage of -0.85 percent to close at 20,444.54. The index opened at morning trade with a value of 20,619.71, recording a day high value of 20,548.57, and a day low value of 20,321.25.
