Asian stocks climb, yen shakes
Asian stocks edged up on Tuesday as investors awaited economic data, corporate earnings and the US Federal Reserve’s policy meeting, while the Japanese currency nudged down a day after the surprise increase that lifted it from 34-year lows, Reuters reported on Tuesday.
The MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan has been performing well. As of now, it is up by 0.36%, and it is expected to achieve a nearly 1% gain for the month. This positive trend marks its third consecutive month of gains.
