Asian-Pacific markets finished broadly higher on Tuesday and Hong Kong’s shares led the region. The Hang Seng gained 1.16 percent while Japan’s Nikkei 225 jumped 0.44 percent.
China’s Shanghai Composite increased 0.22 percent to close at the level of 3,122.41, while Shenzhen Component index – SZI gained 0.69 percent or 76.88 points and end the session at 11,283.92.
The National Stock Exchange of India – NSEI rose by 1.10 percent to reach 17,816.25 and Mumbai Sensex index jumped to 0.98 percent to finish at 59,719.74.
Elsewhere, the Australian Stock Exchange added 1.17 percent to close the session at 7,030.10.
