Aswan, Upper Egypt Development Authority partner for development projects

Aswan Governorate and the Upper Egypt Development Authority (UEDA) signed on Tuesday agreements to implement key development projects in the governorate.

The agreements include a mango crop drying project in Fares village to increase the added value of agricultural products, support production and marketing chains, and create new job opportunities for residents.

The protocols also cover the management and operation of industrial and handicraft complexes in Wadi Karkar, Fares, Kobaneyah, and Al Ramadi, aiming to support small industries, empower youth and women, and provide employment opportunities.

Additionally, the agreements include partnership contracts for the food industries and packaging complex, as well as for an international transport station, enhancing the governorate’s industrial and logistics infrastructure and supporting investment and economic growth.
