At least four wounded after two explosions rock Egypt’s Alexandria

Two explosions rocked Wednesday the center of the city of Alexandria in northern Egypt.

According to Sky News Arabia, at least four people have been injured in the blasts.

The media did not report what caused the explosion.

Egypt has been battling against Islamists, especially in the Sinai Peninsula, since the ousting of pro-Islamist President Mohammed Morsi in 2013. Radicals, affiliated with the Islamic State militant group, have claimed responsibility for a string of attacks on security and police officers across Egypt.
