Giza’s security apparatus has arrested the gunmen who attacked the car of the Central Bank of Egypt governor Hisham Ramez today morning.
Last Wednesday, four armed men attacked the car when it was on the way to pick up the governor from his house, killing his bodyguard, wounding the driver and stealing the vehicle.
The investigations supervised by Maj. Gen. Kamal El-Daly, his deputy Maj. Gen. tarek El-Gazzar and Maj. Gen. Mohamed Farouk showed that Giza’s general security sector and criminal investigation sector discovered the identity of the culprits just after the accident and arrested them on Tuesday. Afterwards, the attackers confessed and guided the security officers to the place of the car of the CBE governor in Shubra.
