Attijariwafa Bank Egypt has issued on Monday its first Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) disclosure report, a move that aimed at supporting Egypt’s 2030 sustainability vision.
The report provides stakeholders with a compact, comprehensive overview of the Attijariwafa Bank Egypt’s environmental, social, and economic sustainability efforts in the North African country for the 2019/2020 year.
The GRI report addresses requests from investors and global rating agencies for detailed information on the bank’s own ESG policies and performance as an organisation.
The GRI Standards help organisations understand their impact, increase accountability and enhance transparency on their contribution to sustainable development.
Attijariwafa Bank Egypt is part of the Attijariwafa Bank, one of Morocco’s largest banks.
