Australia’s Wage Price Index (WPI) increased 0.8 per cent in the June quarter of 2025 and 3.4 per cent year-on-year, according to seasonally adjusted figures released on Wednesday by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
Michelle Marquardt, ABS head of prices statistics, said annual wage growth was unchanged from the March quarter’s 3.4 per cent but down from 4.1 per cent in the same period last year.
