Bahraini Arab Financial Services sets up headquarters in Egypt to expand digital payment solutions
Bahrain-based Arab Financial Services Company (AFS) announced on Tuesday its plans to expand its electronic payments business in the Egyptian market through the establishment of its new headquarters in Egypt.
AFS Egypt will deliver the latest payment solutions and technological innovations to the country’s companies, merchants and financial institutions, the statement added.
CEO of AFS Samer Soliman said that the surprising growth in the Egyptian market over the past years has provided opportunities for all investors in the electronic payments field to expand regionally.
This step reflects company’s importance and its multiple capabilities, as it comes in line with its vision to become the leading enabler for transforming digital transactions and payments across the Middle East and Africa, Soliman added.
AFS is a subsidiary of Bahrain’s Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) Group.
Moreover, the company owned by 37 banks and financial institutions and serves more than 70 financial sector clients in more than 20 countries.
