The journalist Mustafa Bakery, a member of parliament, said that Major General Omar Suleiman, the former vice president, was economically cooperating with Israel to prevent any attacks on Egypt.
In his interview with TV program “Al Balad Alyoum (the Country Today)”, Bakery said that Omar Suleiman is not the military junta’s candidate; referring that there aren’t any deals between them and his running’s decision is publicly known via media.
He announced that Suleiman has received death threats from Muslim Brotherhood and AlJama’a Al-Islamia (Islamist Group); adding that there are fears from Suleiman’s winning in the presidential election.
