Banks’ credit facilities see EGP 35.2bn incline in July 2019

The total credit facilities granted by banks to their customers inclined  by 35.2 Egyptian pounds to reach 1.819tn  pounds by the end of July compared 1.854 pounds by the end June according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

Credit facilities are loans provided by banks to their clients alongside documentary credits and letter of guarantees that were opened to cover import operations.

In the Central bank of Egypt monthly report the industry sector has denominated 33.2 percent of these facilities, followed by the services sector by 26.8 percent, the trade sector by 10.9 percent, the agriculture sector by 1.6 percent and miscellaneous sectors–including households–by 27.6 percent.
