Banks in Egypt to close 12–13 April for Easter, Sham El-Nessim holidays

Egypt’s central bank said on Thursday that all banks operating in the country will suspend work on Sunday and Monday, 12-13 April, on the occasion of Easter and the Sham El-Nessim holidays.

Banking operations are set to resume on the morning of Tuesday, 14 April, according to a statement.
