Banks invest EGP962bn in Egyptian T-bills during July 2019
Banks operating in Egypt has invested investments in 926.2 billion pounds in the government treasury bills during July 2019, compared to 917.8 billion pounds in the comparable area a year earlier according to Central Bank of Egypt.
The specialised banks accounted for about 16.5 billion pounds while the National Investment Bank captured about 254.2 billion pounds.
While the share of governmental banks have invested 370.3 billion pounds, private sector banks seized 252.9 billion pounds, while the foreign banks have secured 32.3 billion pounds.
Foreign investments have declined in nearly 11 months, sliding to 2.276 billion pounds from 274.4 billion pounds.
