Banque du Caire H1 standalone pretax profit grows 6%

Egypt’s third largest public state-lender, Banque du Caire (BdC) reported on Tuesday a 6 percent year-on-year growth in standalone pre-tax profit for the first half of the year.

Standalone pre-tax profit recorded 3.1 billion Egyptian pounds ($161.4 million) in the first half of 2022 from 2.9 billion pounds in the first half of 2021.

Net profit reached 1.84 billion pounds in the first half of 2022 from 1.82 billion pounds in the same period last year.
