Banque Du Caire’s corporate loans portfolio reached EGP 11 billion with an increase of 20% at the end of last March, compared with that of 2011, said Ayman Mokhtar, head of corporate credit department at the Bank.
On the sidelines of the Arab Banking Conference convened in Cairo under the slogan of “SMEs: The Arab Economic Strategic Choice”, Mokhtar said Banque Du Caire studies offering dollar finance for the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation with value of US$ 40 million, which is guaranteed by Ministry of Finance.
Banque Du Caire targets introducing a new mechanism to offer fast and proper credit to SMEs.
Mokhtar added that the Bank will offer new finances with value of EGP 300 million during this year for SMEs.
