Barclays Egypt Says SME Funding Portfolio Hits EGP350 million

Barclays Egypt’s total SMEs finance portfolio amounts to EGP 350 million within the current June, Amwal Al Ghad cited an official at Barclays Egypt as saying on Wednesday during an economic conference.

Sherif El Behery – Strategy & Planning, Marketing & Corporate Affairs Director at Barclays Egypt – stated that his bank aims to increase its SME finance portfolio to EGP 700 million by the end of 2014.

Arab Media Association organised on Wednesday its annual economic conference that tackles the role of the Egyptian banking sector.
