Belgium’s industrial production 0.3% up in August ’24

Belgium’s industrial production index rose by 0.3 per cent in August 2024 compared to July 2024, according to provisional data released by the Belgium statistics office (Statbel) on Thursday.

The calendar-adjusted production index recorded a significant increase of 4.7 per cent compared to August 2023.

These positive trends indicate a resilient industrial performance in Belgium, reflecting growth in production levels despite ongoing economic challenges.
