BLOM Bank Egypt temporarily closes New Cairo office as employee suspected of having coronavirus

BLOM Bank Egypt, part of Lebanon’s lender BLOM, said on Sunday its New Cairo office would be temporarily closed as one of its employees was suspected of having coronavirus.

The bank was informed of the incident on May 8 and immediately decided to take all necessary measures, sanitize the branch during the weekend, and establish which people the employee came into contact with.
