BP to begin gas production from new wells in Egypt’s Raven Field by Feb – PM
UK oil major BP Plc is poised to begin gas production from two newly completed wells in the Raven Field off Egypt’s Mediterranean coast by February, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly announced on Thursday.
Speaking at a press conference, Prime Minister Madbouly highlighted BP’s successful drilling of the two wells, calling it a major milestone in Egypt’s efforts to boost its domestic energy production. The new wells are expected to significantly increase the country’s gas output, contributing to the continued growth of Egypt’s energy sector.
