Egyptian transport ministry has formed a team of 52 members to study the sustainable solution to develop transport sector , Minister Saad El-Geyoushi stated Tuesday.
During his speech in the Annual Builders of Egypt Forum, the minister added that 30 out of the 52 members do not belong to ministry’s leaderships. The team has conducted the study within three and half months.
Under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the second edition of the Annual Builders of Egypt Forum took place on 1-2 March 2016 in The Nile Ritz-Carlton
It is set to discuss the world’s latest technologies in the construction industry and how to benefit from them locally.
The minister noted that over the past 30 years , the state was unaware about the importance of developing transport sector and carrying out the necessary maintenances.
El-Geyoushi added that the ministry has an approach to invest within the upcoming period since it held meetings with around 40 ambassadors who asserted that Egypt is currently enjoying prominent investments opportunities.
Moreover, Transport ministry aims at expanding in education and training field in cooperation with French and German universities, minister El-Geyoushi clarified.
