Builders of Egypt ’24: Forum catalyses Saudi market access – FOCIC chair
The Builders of Egypt Forum played an instrumental role in fostering collaboration among construction industry stakeholders in the region, said Zakria Al-Abdelgadir, President of the Federation of Consultants from Islamic Countries (FOCIC), on Sunday.
Speaking at the ninth edition of Builders of Egypt Forum, Al-Abdelgadir said the Forum had created opportunities for contractors in Islamic countries to secure major projects. He highlighted the success of the previous forum in helping four Egyptian companies enter the Saudi market and expressed confidence that the current edition would attract even more participation.
Al-Qadir outlined the Union of Islamic Contractors’ three-pronged strategy for supporting contractors in Islamic countries: enhancing their capabilities, promoting regional opportunities, and addressing challenges. He stressed the importance of quality and experience in securing projects and the need for continued training and development of contractors.
The Builders of Egypt Forum, taking place under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, brings together representatives from Arab and African countries to discuss regional development opportunities. The Forum focuses on the export of Egyptian construction and related industries, highlighting the potential for Egyptian companies to expand into foreign markets.
