Cairo Chamber of Commerce (CCC) is scheduled to hold a forum to discuss Value-added Tax (VAT) law and its effect on trade sector on Sunday October 16, 2016.
The forum would be attended by head of Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA), Abdel Moneim Matar and a number of officials at the ETA.
First Vice-chairman of the CCC, Ali Shoukry stated that the forum targets discussing the VAT law and how it would affect the commercial society and different sectors as pursuant to the recession that markets are currently witnessing.
The forum would also discuss the effect of VAT law on consumers and commodities prices.
During the forum, the CCC would showcase all visions and merchants’ inquiries to be answered by ETA officials.
Moreover, Shoukry noted that the CCC invited it’s all divisions to attend the forum that aims at making commercial society aware of the VAT.
