Care Plus Medically Insures LG Electronics Workers

Care Plus Healthcare Company signed an insurance policy to insure the workers of LG Electronics Egypt medically, said Hesham Maged, managing director of the company.

The insurance policy covers the costs of medical examinations, rays, analyses, surgeries, endoscopes, dentistry, eyeglasses and medicines for about 800 persons, he added.

Healthcare companies have faced many obstacles in the last period as for example the providers of medical services have raised the prices of medicines after the recent hike of the value of dollar against the Egyptian pound, he noted.

He affirmed that the healthcare market in Egypt requires a more organized system that shall be implemented by regulators.

It is worth noting that Care Plus Healthcare Company targets to increase the value of premiums collected for insurance companies by 15% during the current year.
