The total assets of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reached around EGP527 billion at the end of last September against EGP554.1 billion at the end of the third week of the last September, move up by 3.2% (EGP17.9 billion).
The recent senior reports revealed that the total gold reserves recorded around EGP17.2 billion with the CBE during the same period, while CBE’s credits are around EGP16.6 billion.
The total loans and deposits of CBE for the banks which are operating in the banking sector hit about EGP23.5 billion September-end.
The reports revealed that CBE’s credits with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) up EGP9.2 billion.
While the total commitments of CBE reached EGP553.3 billion within the same period, whereas the cash of CBE boosted to EGP375.4 billion in the last September.
