Ceramica Cleopatra developing 11.87 mln m2 in Suez Canal Economic Zone
Egyptian largest ceramics maker; Cleopatra Group says it is developing 11.87 million square metres of the land plots in Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) in Ain sokhna, 120km (74.5 miles) east of Cairo.
The development process will cost 15.3 billion Egyptian pounds ($888.4 million), said Cleopatra Group’s chairman Mohamed Abou el-Enein on Saturday.
Abou el-Enein made these remarks during the Egyptian Parliament Industrial Committee’s visit to a number of factories working in the SCZone, in the presence of MP Mohamed Farag Amer.
SCZone comprises of four industrial sectors for petroleum equipment manufacturing, production of glass fibers, agricultural equipment manufacturing, and small and medium-sized industries.
