Chemicals Council eyes raising Egypt’s exports to Africa by 20%

The total volume of Egyptian chemicals exports to Africa is planned to be raised by 20 percent annually to be doubled within five coming years.

Head of Egyptian Chemical Export Council (CEC), Khaled Abu El Makarem stated that the council has agreed with one of the Egyptian marketing firms to promote Egypt’s exports of chemical products in Africa.

The company is set to participate in organising a number of promotional campaigns to Africa, the official noted.

Hereby the agreement, the firm is scheduled to send the first promotional mission within three months including 15-20 firms that represent different sectors of the council.

The promotional mission is set to be preceded by mutual meetings to showcase available investment opportunities,  Abu El Makarem pointed out.
