China eagers to work with Russian military on various aspects – ministry

Chinese Defence Ministry announced on Thursday that it is ready to work with the Russian military to strengthen strategic communications and coordination, amid the recent growing Chinese-Russian confluence.

Tan Kefei, a spokesman at the Chinese Defence Ministry, said in a statement that the China and Russia would work together to implement global security initiatives.

According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), the recent naval exercises between China, Russia and Iran have strengthened the capabilities of the three countries to carry out joint military missions.

It is worth mentioning that the three countries have sent special forces, including 12 vessels to participate in exercises in the Gulf of Oman from 15 March to 19.
