China earmarks $49m in flood relief aid

China’s National Development and Reform Commission has allocated 350 million yuan ($49.08 million) in disaster relief aid for flood-affected provinces like Henan, Shaanxi, and Sichuan.

The allocated funds will be used to support emergency recovery efforts in the affected regions. This includes repairs for flood-damaged schools, hospitals, and flood control facilities across the three provinces.
