China grants 100m yuan to Egypt for joint development projects

China’s top legislator Zhao Leji announced a 100 million yuan grant to implement joint development projects with Egypt, as per a statement published by the Egyptian Cabinet on Wednesday.

Zhao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC), reiterated China’s support for Egypt’s development goals, including “Egypt Vision 2030,” and expressed interest in enhancing co-operation with Cairo, especially in infrastructure development.
