China removes Israel from online maps
China expressed solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza by removing the state of Israel from its online maps on Wednesday.
The online maps in China show the borders between the lands occupied in 1948 and those occupied in 1967, which include the West Bank.
However, the map does not show the name of Israel.
Chinese companies like Baidu and Alibaba have also removed all references to Israel.
Israel’s neighbours, however, like Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan, are visible on the map.
Israel has been committing consistent war crimes in the Gaza strip, including bombing innocent civilians, bombing hospital, using white phosphorus, and bombing refugee camps.
