Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his South Korean counterpart, Cho Tae-yul, in Beijing on Saturday, where they emphasised the need for enhanced bilateral co-operation to navigate global challenges.
Wang underscored the positive trajectory of China-South Korea relations, noting increased exchanges and co-operation in various fields.
He stressed the importance of adhering to the principles of their diplomatic ties, focusing on friendship, and pursuing mutual benefit.
China pledged support for South Korea’s hosting of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting next year and expressed its commitment to regional economic integration, Wang added.
