China’s ICBC posts 3.8% rise in Q3 net profit

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd (ICBC), the world’s largest commercial lender, reported on Wednesday a 3.8 per cent increase in net profit for the third quarter of 2024.

The bank’s profit reached 98.558 billion yuan ($13.84 billion) in September 2024, up from 94.929 billion yuan a year ago.
