Asia-Pacific shares had mixed on Wednesday as the Shenzhen Component tumbled 2.88 percent to close at 12,096.39, while the Shanghai Composite recorded 1.86 percent lower to end by 3,215.20.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index dropped 1.07 percent in the last hour of trade, with the Hang Seng Tech index losing 2.72 percent.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 closed 0.49 percent lower at 28,313.47 and the Topix also ended the session 0.22 percent lower at 1,967.18.
Moreover, the Electric vehicle maker Xpeng fell by 12 percent.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 added 0.52 percent to 6,998.1, South Korea’s Kospi gained 0.5 percent at 2,447.45, and the Kosdaq advanced 1.24 percent to 793.14.
FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index lower at 1.13 percent and Thailand’s SETI gained 0.06 percent.
