China’s used car market grows 6.52% in ’24

China’s used vehicle market saw a 6.52 per cent increase in annual transactions in 2024, reaching over 19.61 million units, as per data from the China Automobile Dealers Association. The association reported a total transaction value of around 1.29 trillion yuan ($180 billion) for the year.

In December, sales surpassed 1.9 million units, a 14.4 per cent increase from the previous year and a 6.42 per cent rise from November, with transaction revenue reaching approximately 119.96 billion yuan.
