China’s youth unemployment rate at 13.2% for June

China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported on Wednesday that the unemployment rate for young people aged 16 to 24, excluding college students, reached 13.2 per cent in June.

This figure is significantly higher than the rates for older age groups: 6.4 per cent for 25-29 years old and 4.0 per cent for 30-59-years old.
