A mission from large Chinese firm specialised in establishing mining projects is set to meet New Valley governor, Mahmoud Ashmawy to discuss necessary steps for executing phosphate fertilizer project in Abu Tartour.
New Valley governorate is located 733 km (455.9 miles) of Cairo in the southwestern part of Egypt between the Nile, northern Sudan, and southeastern Libya.
Chairman of Phosphate Misr Company, Khaled Al Ghazali Harb stated Saturday that the visit of the Chinese mission aims at showcasing the project, raw materials available in Abu Tartour hill, and available potentials there in general.
Moreover, the official added that Egypt has exported more than 1.6 million tonnes of phosphate in 2015.
