CIB, Thomas Cook Launch Prepaid Travel Mastercard

The Commercial International Bank (CIB) and Thomas Cook Egypt launched CIB-Thomas Cook prepaid travel MasterCard which is an alternative for traveler’s checks, offered to the Egyptian clients to withdraw money and make purchases abroad.

The CIB-Thomas Cook prepaid MasterCard is the first one available at a travel agency in Egypt. Clients can use the card via the internet to do shopping, do hotel booking, and pay bills. Clients also can recharge their prepaid cards with the local currency.

 The new prepaid card is one of the outcomes of the partnership between CIB and Thomas Cook Egypt that has lasted for five years.
