Consolidated Contractors Company names Mohamed Tarek VP for North Africa
Athens-based construction firm Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) on Tuesday named Mohamed Tarek as executive vice president for North Africa.
Tarek, from Egypt, will be in charge of handling businesses, marketing, and sales in addition to managing electromechanical operations in Egypt, CCC said in a statement.
Prior to his newest position, Tarek served as Senior Business Development Manager for North Africa He has a wide experience spanning over 19 years in the construction sector, working on several projects in Africa and the Middle East and advising on various businesses in sectors of real estate and energy.
Before joining CCC, Tarek was the Deputy Head of the Construction and Real Estate Investment Committee at the Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) and Member of the Industry Modernization Committee at the Egyptian Federation Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC).
Today, CCC is the largest construction company in the Middle East and also ranks among the top 20 international contractors, Tarek said.
The company has presence in more than 40 countries through Africa, the Caribbean, CIS countries, Australia and Papua New Guinea, with related investments in Europe and the United States.
