Constituent Assembly Discusses The Army’s Budget

In the frame of the sessions of the constituent assembly to draft the new constitution, Dr Amr Derag, assembly secretary general, said the army’s budget is being discussed, as it needs more consideration in setting its items.

With regard to the ruling system, Derag said there are some suggest that the presidential term lasts 4 years, while others thinks it should be 5 years. He added that the assembly hasn’t settled so far on the presidential term.

As per the second article of the constitution, the article will not be changed.
