Egyptian Businessmen Association will participate in the 14th session of the Egyptian-Turkish Business Council that will be held from 7th to 11th May, 2013, said Decker Abdellah, member of Egyptian-Turkish Business Council and member of the board of Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors.
Egyptian Businessmen Association will discuss the problems facing the important sectors in Egypt and the agenda of tourism, electricity generation, power and small and medium-sized enterprises, he added.
Abdellah revealed that the Associated will also participate in the International Istanbul Smart Grid Congress and Exhibition that will be held in Istanbul on 9th and 10th of next May, under the auspices of the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. The conference aims at finding new methods to generate clean, renewable energy.
A number of electricity distribution, water services as well as natural gas and power generation companies will participate in the conference.
Industrial Development Authority, Social Fund for Development, New and Renewable Energy Authority, Ministry of Electricity and Energy and Tourism Development Authority will be invited to participate in the meeting.
Abdellah emphasized on the importance of cooperation between Egypt and Turkey. The bilateral trade volume between Egypt and Turkey reached US$ 5 billion in 2012 and is expected to be doubled in the upcoming period.
