Egypt’s Cooperative Insurance Society (CIS) says its total investments portfolio rose to 366 million Egyptian pounds ($23.2 million) at the end of the third quarter of the 2019/2020 financial year,
At the end of the first half of the 2019/2020 financial year, the investments grew by 7.9 percent or 26 million pounds to register 340 million pounds, CIS chairman Hossam Abdel Aziz told Amwal Al Ghad on Saturday.
“Our investment portfolio are pumped into public debt instruments, including government treasury bills and bonds, besides saving certificates and banking deposits,” Abdel Azizi said.
