Coronavirus cases in Egypt pass 2,000, with 126 new infections and 15 deaths

Egypt has reported 126 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number to 2065, a health ministry statement said on Sunday.

The North African country also reported 13 new deaths from the virus, bringing the total fatalities to 159, the statement added.

Meanwhile, the total number of the fully-recovered cases climbed to 447 on Sunday, all have been discharged from isolation hospitals, said health ministry spokesperson Khaled Megahed.
